His research focuses on public international law, international economic law, international dispute resolution, foreign-related rule of law, and the Basic Laws of Hong Kong and Macao.
He has published more than twenty articles in leading Chinese and international law journals, including Studies in Law and Business, Law Science, Tsinghua University Law Journal, Global Law Review, Contemporary Law Review, Wuhan University Journal (Philosophy & Social Sciences), Social Science Research, Chinese Journal of International Law, Journal of International Economic Law, Chinese Journal of International Law, China Maritime Law Review, Wuhan University International Law Review, and the Yearbook on International Investment Law & Policy. Several of these pieces have been fully reprinted by the Renmin University Photocopied Materials and selected for the Philosophy and Social Sciences Master Literature anthology. He has received multiple First and Second Prizes for the Annual Outstanding Paper Awards of both the Chinese Society of International Economic Law and the China Law Society’s Research Institute of International Economic Law, as well as the First Prize in the themed essay competition of the China Law Society’s China Rule of Law International Forum.
He has coached the South China University of Technology team in major international moot-court competitions—Vis East Moot、Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition and “CIETAC CUP” International Commercial Arbitration Moot—winning national runner-up, national third place, national first-class prize, national second-class prize, and global rankings of 16th, 19th and 35th.
