Dr. Zhixian Li, Associate Professor and Master's Supervisor.

He is honored as a National Outstanding Young Teacher in Petroleum and Chemical Engineering Education. He teaches the undergraduate core course Principles of Chemical Engineering (a National-level First-class Course, bilingual in Chinese/English). He has published two teaching research papers in Chemical Engineering of Higher Education and co-authored one professional textbook.

His research focuses on biological/biomimetic catalysis and the high-value valorization of lignin. He has led research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), the National Key R&D Program (as sub-project leader), the Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province, and Guangdong China Tobacco. He has published 56 SCI papers in authoritative journals such as ACS Catalysis and holds 11 authorized Chinese and US invention patents.
