Yangkaixiang

Kaixiang Yang is an Associate Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, and Assistant Dean at the School of Computer Science and Engineering, South China University of Technology. He was selected as a Young Top-notch Talent in Guangdong Province's Major Talent Project. His research focuses on trustworthy machine learning and data mining. He has published over 100 academic papers in leading international journals and conferences such as IEEE TPAMI/TKDE/TIP/TNNLS, NeurIPS, AAAI, and ACM MM, including 40 papers in IEEE Transactions, 6 of which are ESI Hot/Highly Cited Papers. He holds 22 authorized invention patents. He has received numerous prestigious awards, including the First Prize of Zhejiang Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, the Second Prize of CCF Natural Science Award, the Guangdong Provincial Artificial Intelligence Industry Association Youth Science and Technology Innovation Award, the Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence Natural Science Second Prize, and the ACM Guangzhou Rising Star Award. He serves as a member of the Adaptive Dynamic Programming and Reinforcement Learning Professional Committee of the Chinese Association of Automation and a member of the Artificial Intelligence and Pattern Recognition Professional Committee of the China Computer Federation. He has been invited to serve as the deputy editor-in-chief of the international journal 《International Journal of Autonomous and Adaptive Communications Systems》, a youth editorial board member of 《Metaverse》, the deputy director of the youth editorial board of 《Automation and Information Engineering》, and a guest editorial board member of journals such as 《Computer Communications》, 《IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics》, and 《IEEE Journal of Biomedical and Health Informatics》.
