In June 1993 He obtained his master's degree from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at South China University of Technology and subsequently began his teaching career at the same institution.In June 2005，He obtained  Doctor's degree .He currently serves as an associate professor in the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, Department of Automotive Engineering, where he teaches two undergraduate courses: Heat Transfer and Mechanical Reliability Design. Additionally, he holds the position of Chairman of the Supervisory Board at the Guangdong Provincial Internal Combustion Engine Society. He is currently accepting master's students in the field of mechanical engineering.

He has led the compilation of one undergraduate textbook and contributed to three undergraduate textbooks and one graduate textbook, with a cumulative word count exceeding 500,000 characters. He has published over 40 papers in domestic and international journals, conferences, and periodicals, of which more than 10 have been included in SCI and EI. He has also been granted 8 national invention patents.
