I mainly engage in the research on novel molding and processing technologies and equipment for polymer materials. Specifically, addressing the challenges of low processing efficiency and difficulty in improving product performance faced by thermoplastic processing of hard-to-process material systems—such as ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE), plant fibers, and their composites—I have developed a variety of internationally advanced novel methods and equipment for the high-value processing and utilization of plant fibers and UHMWPE.
