Biography
Male, born in September 1983. A Doctor of Engineering degree is held, and the positions of Associate Professor, Master's Supervisor, and member of the China Zhi Gong Party are held. Appointments are held as a Teacher (Teaching and Research Position) and Deputy Director (in charge of graduate student affairs) at the Institute of Metal Materials Preparation, Forming and Equipment, School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, South China University of Technology, as well as a Full-time Deputy Director (Deputy Division-level Position) of the National Engineering Research Center for Near-Net-Shape Forming of Metallic Materials. The main research areas cover intelligent manufacturing and machine vision, including visual defect detection, human behavior recognition, tactile perception, deep learning, cutting processing, and the mechanisms and technologies of laser microfabrication. Extensive engineering experience is possessed in online industrial inspection, human behavior recognition, and multi-modal data fusion involved in visual defect detection and tactile perception. In addition, a solid theoretical foundation and rich practical experience are held in the design of experimental schemes and methods for metal material preparation, cutting processing, and laser processing, experimental analysis, as well as numerical simulation analysis of processing processes. Currently, research is mainly conducted on the optimization of preparation processes for new cobalt-free cemented carbide tool materials, as well as the application of cobalt-free cemented carbide materials and laser processing technologies. Over the past 5 years, 2 national-level projects, 3 provincial and ministerial-level projects, and 3 university-level projects have been presided over. More than 40 papers have been published as the first author or corresponding author in engineering and technology journals such as Wear, Surface and Coatings Technology, International Journal of Thermal Sciences, Journal of Material Processing Technology, International Journal of Advanced Manufacturing Technology, Journal of Manufacturing Processes, Journal of Micromechanics and Microengineering; optics journals such as Optics Letters, Optics Express, Optics and Lasers in Engineering; and materials science journals such as Ceramics International, International Journal of Refractory Metals and Hard Materials, Materials Science & Engineering A, Advanced Materials Technologies. Among these, 27 are SCI-indexed papers. 18 invention patents have been applied for, of which 8 have been authorized, and 3 utility model patents have been obtained. 1 Second-Class Award of Guangdong Provincial Technological Invention has been won. Service is currently rendered as a reviewer for several international journals, including International Journal of Advanced Manufacturing Technology, Ceramics International, International Journal of Thermal Sciences, Optics & Laser Technology, and Journal of Cleaner Production.

Research Areas
