Biography

Professor at South China University of Technology, PhD Supervisor, Vice Director of the Guangdong Provincial Engineering Laboratory for Intelligent Manufacturing of Functional Structures and Devices, Senior Member of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, Youth Talent of the Ministry of Education’s Joint Fund for Equipment Pre-research, Youth Talent of the Guangdong Provincial Association for Science and Technology, Distinguished Young Scholar of South China University of Technology.

In recent years, I have focused on research related to advanced manufacturing and processing technologies, integrated structural design and manufacturing technologies for perception-execution functions, and advanced intelligent and efficient thermal control design technologies for high-end, high-power equipment. I have led nearly ten national and provincial-level projects, including key projects funded by the Military Commission’s Science and Technology Commission, the National Key R&D Program, equipment pre-research projects, and the National Natural Science Foundation of China.

Based on these research outcomes, I have published over 100 papers in internationally influential journals such as Nano Energy, Advanced Science, and ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces. I have also been granted more than 40 invention patents. Among the team's achievements, our work on thermal control key device design and manufacturing has received several prestigious awards, including the 2024 Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Second Prize, the 2016 National Science and Technology Progress Second Prize, and the 2018 China Patent Excellence Award. These achievements have been applied in fields such as aerospace, aviation, high-speed rail, and phased array radar.

Social Position

Currently serving as the Vice Director of the Guangdong Provincial Engineering Laboratory for Intelligent Manufacturing of Functional Structures and Devices, Program Committee Member of the International Young Scientists Forum on Advanced Optical Manufacturing, Head of the Organizing Committee for the Micro-Nano Sensing Technology and Intelligent Applications Competition, Senior Member of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, and Youth Editorial Board Member for Extreme Manufacturing journal. I am also a reviewer for more than 10 international journals, including ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, Chemical Engineering Journal, and Carbon. I have been invited to deliver plenary and keynote presentations at several international and domestic academic conferences, including SMART 2022, International Conference on Nanomanufacturing, and APCOM & YSAOM 2023, with a total of five talks.

Research Project

In the past 5 years, I have led and undertaken more than 10 projects, including the key foundational enhancement project funded by the Military Commission's Science and Technology Commission, the National Key R&D Program project, the Equipment Development Department Joint Fund, the National Natural Science Foundation of China Youth Program, and the Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation project, among others. The total research funding I have led and undertaken exceeds 10 million RMB. I have also received funding from major talent programs in Guangdong Province.
