Profile
Yin Shi is an associate professor at the School of Architecture, South China University of Technology, a Hong Kong Scholar, a national first-class registered architect, and a joint doctoral graduate of South China University of Technology and Technische Universität München (TUM) in Germany. His main research focuses on climate-adaptive cities and architecture from a multi-scale perspective. Combining research ideas and technical tools of computational design, he conducts interdisciplinary research in the fields of architecture, urban climatology, and urban ecology to support green, low-carbon, healthy, and sustainable urban and architectural design.
