Biography
He has successively served as the principal investigator for several projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Guangdong Natural Science Foundation, the Scientific Research Special Project of the Guangzhou Science and Technology Innovation Commission, and enterprise cooperation projects. He has received honors such as My Favorite Supervisor at South China University of Technology in 2015 and 2017, Top Ten Teaching expert at South China University of Technology in 2018， and Excellent Teacher of Guangdong Province in 2021.

Research Areas
Ergonomics, human-computer interaction, intelligent product design, virtual reality and augmented reality applications. Focusing on the human-computer interaction issues in autonomous driving, especially paying attention to the HMI design of autonomous vehicles coupling other road users. Based on 3D head shape data, we conduct product innovation design and usability evaluation. Using 3DMM and face recognition technology, we carry out innovative applications for Headwear products. Based on the physiological, psychological and behavioral data of the elderly, we carry out age-friendly design.
