Biography

WANG, Fenghong, Ph.D., Professor, currently serves as vice dean of the School of Design at South China University of Technology, doctoral supervisor, and director of the Guangdong Provincial Key Laboratory of Digital Intelligence-Empowered Design Innovation, entitled Guangdong province distinguished teacher and outstanding teacher of Nanyue. She also serves a number of academic committees and societies including but not limited, as: Member of the Teaching Steering Committee for Engineering Graphics of the Ministry of Education; Member of the Teaching Steering Committee for Industrial Design of Guangdong Province; Council Member of Executive Directors to the China Graphics Society (CGS); Director of Professional Committee of the Computer-Aided Industrial Design to the CGS; and Chairperson of the Art Design Committee of the Guangzhou Artists Association. She has led and participated in over 30 provincial/ministerial-level projects including National-level initiatives, Ministry of Education projects, and major projects of the China Higher Education Society, publishing more than 20 papers indexed in SCI, EI, and other databases. Her primary research areas include AI-driven creative design, intelligent interaction and user experience, smart health and sustainable design, and engineering graphics. She won a number of awards include: World MOOC Alliance “Outstanding MOOC Course Award for AI Innovation”, National First-Class Course - Provincial Virtual Simulation Course, National Teaching Achievement Award (Second Class), and three First-Class Awards in Provincial Teaching Achievement. She further contributes to a First-Class National Teaching Achievement Award and a Second-Class Provincial Teaching Achievement AwardFirst Guangdong Provincial Excellent Textbook Award Winner.
