Xiezhi

Xie Zhi, male, his native place is Anhui Province. In 2004, he graduated from the major of Ceramic Art and Design, School of Design and Art, Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute (Currently, it is Jingdezhen Ceramic University), obtained a bachelor's degree, and stayed there to work. In 2009, he graduated from the major of Design Art Studies, Graduate School of China Academy of Art, with a master's degree. In 2022, he graduated from the major of Design Science, School of Design, Nanjing University of the Arts, earning a doctoral degree. He is currently a lecturer at the School of Design, South China University of Technology, and a council member of the Ceramic Branch of the Chinese Ceramic Society.

His works have participated in numerous domestic and international ceramic art exhibitions, and have been selected into events such as the China Arts and Crafts 'Hundred Flowers Award' (Putian) Competition sponsored by the China Light Industry Federation, the 9th National Ceramic Art and Design Innovation Competition, and the Triennial Exhibition of Chinese Contemporary Ceramic Artists' Works. He has won nomination awards at the 1st China Gaoling International Ceramic Art Competition Exhibition and the 2nd China Gaoling International Ceramic Art Competition Exhibition, which are co-sponsored by the UNESCO International Academy of Ceramics, the Ministry of Culture of the People's Republic of China, the China Light Industry Federation, the China Ceramic Industry Association, and other organizations. A series of his works have been collected by institutions including the Jingdezhen Ceramic Museum, the Executive Committee of Jingdezhen International Ceramic Fair, and the China Contemporary Ceramic Art Museum of South China University of Technology.
