Biography
My professional focus is on landscape planning and design, with current research areas including: 1) protection and utilization of historic districts; 2) digital-intelligent design; 3) ecological planning and design. My ongoing research aims to expand the application of cutting-edge machine learning technologies in the field of planning and design, enhancing the scientific nature of planning and design practices. I hold a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Tongji University, a Master of Science degree and a Doctor of Science degree from Peking University. As a visiting scholar, I studied at the Department of Urban Engineering, The University of Tokyo in Japan from 2018 to 2019. I have extensive experience in international exchanges and cooperation, having participated in multiple international workshops with renowned universities worldwide, such as Harvard University, The University of Hong Kong, Seoul National University, and Lund University. Currently, I serve as the Deputy Director of the Digital Intelligence-empowered Design Innovation Laboratory (Key Laboratory of Philosophy and Social Sciences of Guangdong Province Universities) at South China University of Technology.
