BiographyYang Jing, Professor and Master's Supervisor at the School of Design, South China University of Technology. Her main research directions include visual communication design and theory, brand visual identity system construction, and product packaging design. She emphasizes the cultivation of practical and innovative abilities, and maintains close cooperation with enterprises, conducting teaching and research activities through project-driven approaches. She has presided over and participated in a number of vertical and horizontal scientific research fund projects. Among them, the vertical projects she hosted include: the Planning Fund Project of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Ministry of Education, the 12th Five-Year Plan Fund Project of Guangdong Province, the Educational Research Fund of the Department of Education of Guangdong Province, the Higher Education Research Fund, and the Key Project of the Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities of South China University of Technology. Two of her teaching case achievements have been included in the thematic case database of the China Professional Degree Case Center. She has published more than 20 papers in core academic journals at home and abroad, such as CSSCI, SSCI, and EI. She has guided students to participate in various design competitions and won more than 30 awards, including the Gold Award in the Packaging Design Group of the MUSE Design Awards and the First Prize in the China Packaging Creative Design Competition.
