Academic Appointment and Professional Qualification
Master in Sports Education and Training, PhD in Sports Humanities and Sociology. Currently serving as Director of the Public Physical Education Department at the School of Sports Science, South China University of Technology, and Master’s Supervisor. Certified as an International-level Jury Member in Rowing.
Academic and Teaching Achievements
Lead instructor of a National First-Class Undergraduate Course (online-offline blended model). Awarded the Third Prize in the National College Teaching Innovation Competition and the Special Prize in the Guangdong Provincial College Teaching Innovation Competition. Has presided over 3 provincial/ministerial-level research projects, 2 bureau-level projects, and 8 university-level projects. Participated in 1 major research project of the Ministry of Education and 2 national-level research projects. Authored 2 monographs, contributed to 1 monograph, and co-authored 1 textbook. Published 4 papers in CSSCI-indexed journals and 11 papers in nationally recognized core journals.
Involvement in Major Events
Served in key roles including International Jury Member, Technical Delegate, Competition Director, President of Jury, Deputy President of Jury, and Director of Sport Presentation at major events such as the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games, 2016 Rio Olympic Games, 2018 Jakarta Asian Games, 2021 World University Games, 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games, the 12th, 14th, and 15th National Games, among others.
Professional Roles
Member of the ARF Jury Committee, Deputy Director of the Jury Committee of the Chinese Rowing Association, and currently serves as a member of the Jury Committee of the Guangdong Provincial Rowing Association.
