BiographyAfter obtaining bachelor's and doctoral degrees in Physics from Tsinghua University in 2003 and 2008, Dr. Yang went to City University of Hong Kong to conduct postdoctoral research. In 2010, he was appointed as an associate professor at South China University of Technology, promoted to professor in 2012, and was selected as a doctoral supervisor in 2013; selected for the Guangdong Province Excellent Young Teacher Training Program, and in 2014, awarded the Guangdong Province Outstanding Youth Fund and selected for the Guangdong Province Special Support Program. In 2015, the course of computational physics by Dr. Yang was approved for the construction project of a large-scale online education course (MOOC) at South China University of Technology, as a first-class blended online and offline course for universities in Guangdong Province In 2020.
