AboutLiu Bin is a flute instructor at the School of Arts, South China University of Technology, a council member of the Chinese Flute Professional Committee, a member of the Guangdong Musicians Association, a council member of the Guangdong Wind Music Society, and an examiner for the Guangdong Provincial Art Major Unified Examination. She has been invited to serve as a judge for various professional competitions, including the Asian Wind Music Arts Festival and Competition, the China division of the Severino Gazzelloni International Flute Competition in Italy, the National 'Huaxia Cup' Flute Competition, and the South China Wind and Percussion Solo and Ensemble Invitational Competition, among others. In terms of academic and artistic practice, Liu Bin actively participates in various domestic and international academic exchanges and music performances. The works he performed, Entering the World of Symphony Music and Entering the World of Opera, were awarded as Ministry of Education Quality Courses, while Symphony Orchestra Training and Performance Art was recognized as a Guangdong Provincial Quality Course. In addition, the original chamber music suite she participated in, Qin-Yue Space-Time, received the Silk Road Cultural Contribution Award and was selected as a National Arts Fund-supported project. In research and teaching, Liu Bin, as the principal investigator, undertook a research project funded by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education, has published multiple provincial and national-level papers, and released the album L.C.L Flute Ensemble Collection. The students he mentors have repeatedly won gold and silver awards in solo and ensemble categories in various national wind music competitions, and he himself has been repeatedly recognized as an Outstanding Instructor.
