About

Dan Li, D.M.A., is an Associate Professor, Master’s Supervisor, and Deputy Director of the Vocal Music Department. She is a member of the Chinese Musicians Association, a council member of the Guangdong String Song Education Association, a council member of the Vocal Music Branch of the Guangdong Federation of Student Sports and Arts, and an expert reviewer for the Quality Monitoring and Evaluation of Graduate Theses under the Ministry of Education’s Academic Degrees Center.

With a long-term dedication to vocal performance, theoretical exploration, and pedagogical research, her primary research focuses on Chinese and foreign art songs as well as Chinese opera. She has released a personal album titled Lotus and has successfully held six solo concerts in both China and South Korea. Dr. Li has performed leading and supporting roles in multiple operas and has frequently been invited to serve as a judge for vocal competitions.

In terms of academic research, she has led several provincial and ministerial-level research projects and published three scholarly monographs. Under her guidance, students have excelled in various vocal competitions and repeatedly received honors. Her graduates are widely active in domestic artistic performance and education sectors, while some have entered the civil service system or successfully pursued entrepreneurship, demonstrating diverse career development paths.
