About

Vice Dean of the School of Arts at South China University of Technology, Associate Professor of Composition, Master's Supervisor, Member of the Chinese Musicians Association, and Council Member of the Guangdong Provincial Musicians Association. His musical compositions span orchestral music, opera, chamber music, choral works etc. His works have received awards such as the Outstanding Song Award (no ranking) at the 3rd China Music Golden Bell Awards, the Silver Award at the 8th China Music Golden Bell Awards, the Excellence Award at the 14th Ministry of Culture Hua Awards for Musical Works, and the 9th Guangdong Lu Xun Literary and Art Award. His compositions have been selected for national projects, including the National Arts Fund for Small repertoire Theater (Program) Works and the Symphony of the Era—Chinese Symphonic Music Composition Support Program. He has led projects such as the Ministry of Education's Original Cultural Excellence in Higher Education initiative, the Guangdong Philosophy and Social Sciences Planning Project, and the Guangzhou Philosophy and Social Sciences Planning Project. Individually, he has received honors including the South China University of Technology Teaching Excellence Award and first prize in the university's Young Teachers Classroom Competition.

Graduated from the Composition program at the Attached High School of Wuhan Conservatory of Music in 2001;
Graduated from the Composition and Composition Technology Theory program at the Wuhan Conservatory of Music in 2006, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree;
Graduated from the Composition and Composition Technology Theory program at the Graduate School of Wuhan Conservatory of Music in 2009, earning a Master of Arts degree.
