AboutComposer (PhD), Postdoctoral Fellow, Member of the Chinese Musicians Association Composition and Composition Theory Society, and Member of the Chinese Women Composers Association. She completed her bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral studies at the China Conservatory of Music under Professor Gao Weijie, and conducted her postdoctoral research under Professor Gao Ping. She is currently a faculty member and master’s supervisor at the School of Arts, South China University of Technology.
Her creative output spans orchestral music, concertos, chamber works, choral compositions, and art songs. Her music has been performed in a variety of settings, recognized with awards, and published by professional institutions. In her academic work, her research has appeared in leading journals such as Music Research, and has been featured at major national conferences, where she has received several outstanding paper awards. She has also contributed to national arts research projects supported by the National Social Science Foundation and was selected for the China National Arts Fund’s “Young Composers Training Program” in collaboration with the China National Symphony Orchestra.
As an educator, she has guided students who have achieved notable success in both domestic and international composition competitions, including the Grand Prize at the AIMA International Composition Competition (USA) and the 1st Prize in Composition at the Barletta Young Musicians International Competition (Italy).
