My research focuses on developing treatment and prevention strategies for joint soft tissue injuries and wearable devices. I earned my Ph.D. from the University of Michigan in 2012 and pursued postdoctoral work at the Cleveland Clinic to bridge foundational and clinical research. Since 2017, I have served as a Research Associate in Biomedical Engineering and Orthopedic Surgery, joining South China University of Technology in 2022. I have published over 20 SCI papers in journals like Advanced Science and Bone Research, hold two U.S. patents, and received awards including the AOSSM International Excellence in Research Award and the University of Michigan ProQuest Distinguished Dissertation Award. I have also led projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, NIH, and Guangdong Provincial-Municipal Joint Key Fund.
