BiographyZhang Chunyu, female, professor of medical genetics, doctoral supervisor, and Outstanding Talents of the Ministry of Education in the New Century. Graduated from Harbin Medical University with a major in Clinical Medicine in 1998, and obtained a PhD in Genetics from Harbin Medical University in 2006. I have conducted postdoctoral research at the Cancer Prevention and Treatment Center of Sun Yat sen University and conducted visiting research at the University of Hong Kong. I have been working at the School of Medicine, South China University of Technology since 2019. My main research interests include tumor genome variation, the interaction between CAFs and tumor cells in the tumor microenvironment, and the role of extracellular vesicles in the tumor microenvironment. Hosted 2 National Natural Science Foundation general projects and 1 Youth Fund project; Received the New Century Excellent Talents project from the Ministry of Education; Participated in projects such as the Innovation Team of the Ministry of Education, the International Cooperation Special Project of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and published multiple papers in journals such as GUT, Clin Cancer Res, and Cancer Lett. The research results have won the second prize for scientific and technological progress from the Ministry of Education, and have been granted three national invention patents.
