个人简介

华南理工大学教授、博导,国家海外高层次青年人才,博士和博士后分别师从厦门大学郑南峰院士和斯坦福大学崔屹院士。主要从事能源、环境小分子精准高效转化的基础研究,主要包括功能纳米材料的控制合成、结构表征、电/热催化性能、反应机理和反应系统设计开发。先后承担国家海外高层次青年人才项目,科技部重点研发计划“循环经济关键技术与装备”重点专项课题负责人(1项),国家自然科学基金面上项目(2项),科技部外专项目(1项),广东省选“珠江人才计划引进青年拔尖人才”项目和“创新创业团队”项目(共2项),广东省省部级项目(6项)。申请人近年来在国际著名期刊上共发表SCI论文60余篇,其中第一作者(含共同一作)或通讯作者文章包括Science (1篇),Nat. Mater. (1篇), Nat. Catal. (1篇), Nat. Water(1)Nat. Commun. (4篇), JACS (1篇), ACS Catal. (2篇), Nano Lett. (2篇), Adv. Funct. Mater. (1篇), Environ. Sci. Technol. (2篇), ACS Nano (5篇), Small (2篇)和iScience (1篇)等。论文已被引用超过15000次(Google Scholar),其中ESI高被引论文13篇,目前H-index为49。申请国家发明专利25件,授权10件,申请PCT专利1件,专利转化2件。荣获2018年度国家自然科学二等奖《金属纳米材料表面配位化学》(R4)。


  

Dr. Guangxu Chen is a Professor and Ph.D. advisor at South China University of Technology and a recipient of the National Overseas Young Talent Program (2018). He earned his Ph.D. under the supervision of Academician Professor Nanfeng Zheng at Xiamen University and conducted postdoctoral research with Academician Professor Yi Cui at Stanford University.

His research focuses on the fundamental study of precise and efficient conversion of small molecules related to energy and environmental applications, including the controlled synthesis of functional nanomaterials, structural characterization, electro-/thermocatalytic performance, reaction mechanisms, and the design and development of catalytic reaction systems.

Dr. Chen has led multiple research projects, including the National Overseas Young Talent Program, a key project under the Science and Technology’s Key R&D Program on Circular Economy, two National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) general projects, a Ministry of Science and Technology foreign expert project, and two Guangdong Pearl River Talent Plan projects for Young Talent and Innovation and Entrepreneurship Teams. Additionally, he has undertaken six other provincial projects in Guangdong.

In recent years, he has published over 60 SCI papers in internationally renowned journals, including as the first author (including co-first) or corresponding author in ScienceNature MaterialsNature Catalysis, Nature Water, Nature CommunicationsJACSACS CatalysisNano LettersAdvanced Functional MaterialsEnvironmental Science & TechnologyACS NanoSmall, and iScience, among others. His publications have received over 15000 citations (Google Scholar), with 13 ESI Highly Cited Papers, and he currently holds an H-index of 49.

Dr. Chen has applied for 25 patents, of which 10 have been granted, along with 1 PCT patent application and 2 technology transfers. He was awarded the 2018 National Natural Science Award (Second Prize)(R4).
