About

Fan Xueming, Doctor of Engineering, Master's Supervisor, is affiliated with the School of Civil Engineering and Transportation, South China University of Technology (SCUT). He serves as an expert of the Wind Power Concrete Tower Branch of China Concrete and Cement Products Association (CCPA), a member of the Expert Committee of Southern Computational Mechanics Society, a member of Guangdong Civil Engineering and Architecture Society, a member of Guangdong Highway Society, a member of the International Association for Computational Mechanics (IACM), and a member of Guangdong Green Building and Prefabrication Association. His main research and service areas focus on construction monitoring, long-term monitoring, and safety assessment of civil engineering structures, as well as the research and development, testing, and engineering promotion of Ultra-High Performance Concrete (UHPC) materials and structures. He has published more than 80 academic papers, software copyrights, and patents in high-level domestic and international academic journals and conferences, and has hosted or participated in multiple national-level scientific research projects. He has been awarded the Second Class Award for Science and Technology from Guangdong Civil Engineering and Architecture Society (2023), the Second Class Award for Science and Technology from Guangdong Construction Engineering Green and Prefabricated Development Association (2023), the Second Class Award for Science and Technology from Guangdong Highway Society (2022), the Second Class Award for Concrete Science and Technology from China Concrete and Cement Products Association (2021), the Second Class Award for Science and Technology from Guangdong Civil Engineering and Architecture Society (2021), and the Second Class Award for Technological Progress of Guangzhou City (2016, twice), as well as the First Class Award for Technological Progress of Guangdong Province (2005). He also participated in compiling the group standard Technical Specification for Prefabricated Ultra-High Performance Concrete Staircases.

Education

Graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Civil Architecture from Hebei Institute of Technology in July 2000, followed by a Master's degree in Structural Engineering from South China University of Technology (SCUT) in July 2003, and subsequently obtained a Doctoral degree in Structural Engineering from SCUT in July 2008.
