Profile
Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Civil Engineering and Transportation, South China University of Technology, he obtained his Doctor of Engineering degree from South China University of Technology, majoring in Structural Engineering. He currently serves as Secretary-General of the Education Working Committee of the Guangdong Civil Engineering and Architecture Society and Deputy Secretary-General of the Secretariat of the Guangdong Provincial University Students' Structural Design Competition, and was selected into the 2023 Guangdong Association for Science and Technology Young Talents Cultivation Program. His main research focuses on teaching, research and practice in concrete structures and steel-concrete composite structures, and he teaches courses including Theory of Concrete Structures, Loads and Design Principles, and Digital Image Processing and Applications. He has presided over 1 National Natural Science Foundation project, 2 provincial and ministerial-level projects, and participated in more than 20 other scientific research projects as either principal or participant. In addition, he has published over 30 papers in important academic journals at home and abroad and obtained nearly 10 invention patents.
