AboutCurrently an Associate Professor at the School of Civil Engineering and Transportation, South China University of Technology, and a Master’s Supervisor. Received a Ph.D. in Systems Engineering from Beijing Jiaotong University in 2007. Was a visiting scholar at the Smart Transportation Lab (StarLab), University of Washington, USA, from 2017 to 2018. Currently serves as a committee member of the Traffic Simulation Technical Committee, China Society for Simulation. Research interests include: Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), safety analysis in intelligent transportation, modeling and analysis of autonomous driving behavior, microscopic traffic simulation, and green and intelligent transportation planning. Has led or participated in over 10 national and provincial-level research projects and more than 20 applied projects commissioned by government agencies and enterprises. Authored one Chinese monograph and one English monograph, and edited one textbook. Published over 50 high-quality academic papers, including more than 20 indexed by SCI/EI/ISTP. As the first inventor, filed over 30 patents in the field of ITS, with 16 granted. Serves as a reviewer for several academic journals, including IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, Journal of Transportation Engineering, Journal of System Simulation, Journal of Transportation Systems Engineering and Information Technology, and Journal of Chongqing Jiaotong University. Awarded the First Prize of Science and Technology by the China Society for Simulation in 2017 (ranked 3rd) and the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Award in 2018 (ranked 2nd).
