About

Li Chunlei is an associate professor and doctoral supervisor at South China University of Technology. He is a recipient of the Guangdong Provincial Outstanding Youth Fund and a selected member of the Guangzhou Youth Talent Support Program. Currently, he serves as a member of the Solid Mechanics and Structural Mechanics Professional Committee of the Guangdong Society of Mechanics, a standing committee member of the Energy and Engineering Construction Professional Committee of the Guangzhou Association of Young Science and Technology Workers, a young editorial board member of the Chinese journals Advances in Mechanics and Journal of Chinese Applied Mechanics, a young editorial board member of the SCI-indexed journal Materials, and an editorial board member of the international journal Current Mechanics and Advanced Materials. He has led two national projects and five provincial projects, among others, and has published over 70 academic papers. He won the First Prize of the Natural Science Award of the Guangdong Society of Mechanics in 2023 (R1) and the Second Prize of the Science and Technology Award of the Guangdong Engineering Investigation and Design Association in 2024. He was also included in the 2025 Stanford Global Top 2% Most Influential Scientists Annual List.
