BiographyDr. Xiaochen Li is an associate professor specializing in the theoretical and experimental study of nonlinear waves. Her work delves deeply into complex fluid dynamics phenomena, with particular expertise in Faraday waves and wave breaking mechanisms. She holds a Ph.D. in Engineering and a State-Sponsored Visiting Scholar at the University of Oxford, UK. As a Principal Investigator, Dr. Xiaochen Li has successfully secured and managed four significant research grants, including projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, the Open Fund of a State Key Laboratory, and the Guangzhou Municipal Basic Research Program. Additionally, she contributes as a key investigator to a General Program of the NSFC and two provincial-level research projects in Guangdong. Her academic contributions include more than 10 papers published in prestigious SCI-indexed journals such as the Journal of Fluid Mechanics, Physical Review E, and Physics of Fluids. Dr. Xiaochen Li is an active member of the Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics. She also serves the academic community as a peer reviewer for leading journals in the field, including the Journal of Fluid Mechanics and Physics of Fluids. Education
