BiographyYanwen Li graduated from Tongji University in June 2019 with a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering. From July 2019 to October 2020, he served as an assistant researcher/postdoctoral researcher at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, primarily focusing on seismic application research of high-strength structural steel and Ni-Ti shape memory alloys. From October 2020 to August 2022, he served as a JSPS postdoctoral researcher at Kyoto University, Japan, mainly engaged in research related to seismic damage-resistant steel column bases and passive adaptive negative stiffness dampers. In September 2022, he joined the Department of Civil Engineering at South China University of Technology, engaging in teaching and research. He has been engaged in research related to the design theory and key technologies of high-performance steel structures for a long time. I co-chaired a standard project for special researchers from foreign countries funded by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, and participated in one sub-project of the National Key R&D Program and one project funded by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government's Excellence Research Fund. I have published more than 20 journal papers (including 25 SCI papers and 2 Chinese EI papers) and 7 conference papers. I have been granted 3 national invention patents and 2 utility model patents. I serve as a reviewer for several international journals such as Engineering Structures, Journal of Structural Engineering (ASCE), and Steel and Composite Structures. EducationFrom September 2014 to June 2019, I pursued my PhD in Structural Engineering at Tongji University From September 2010 to June 2014, Southwest Jiaotong University, Civil Engineering, Bachelor's Degree From September 2007 to July 2010, Yifeng Middle School, Jiangxi Province Admission InformationWorkExperienceSocial PositionResearch AreasStrengthenign and seismic applications of iron-based shape memory alloys (Fe-SMA); composite/hybrid floating structures; offshore steel structure foundations; additive metal manufacturing Courses TaughtResearch ProjectSelected PublicationsAchievementsPatentHonorSoftware achievement |
