Dr. Qin Xiaoran obtained her Ph.D. from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and served as a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. She is currently an associate professor and doctoral supervisor in the Department of Transportation Engineering, South China University of Technology. Her primary research focuses on sustainable transportation management and optimization, including modeling analysis and optimization of shared mobility markets, optimization of low-altitude traffic systems, transportation data mining and demand forecasting, analysis and management of multimodal integrated transportation systems, and strategic analysis of transportation carbon trading markets. She has led one National Natural Science Foundation of China Youth Program project, three provincial and ministerial-level projects, four departmental and bureau-level projects, and served as the co-PI for one special project. She has published over 30 SCI/SSCI/EI papers, including 15 as the first or corresponding author in JCR Q1 journals. In the past five years, her innovative research achievements have been published in internationally recognized and influential journals, including the top-tier transportation and management journals Transportation Research Part B and Part C. She serves as a young editorial board member for the Journal of South China University of Technology and has long been a reviewer for several internationally renowned journals, such as Transportation Research Part A/B/C/D/E. Her research findings have received positive evaluations and citations from renowned scholars in the fields of transportation and management science both domestically and internationally.
