Biography

Professor Danqing Song has been engaged in research related to geotechnical engineering and geological disasters for a long time. His main research focuses on the dynamic failure effects, monitoring and early warning, and prevention of slopes/tunnels. He has participated in the evaluation and prevention of deformation stability of high slopes and deep-buried tunnels in several major water conservancy, transportation, and mining projects, such as the Sichuan-Tibet Railway, Meida Expressway, and Three Gorges Reservoir. His research results include 80 first-author/corresponding-author SCI papers, 18 EI papers, and 5 papers selected as ESI highly cited papers/Hot Papers. His SCI total citations reach over 2280, with an H-index of 28. He has edited 3 local standards/group standards, participated in 1 industrial standard of the hydraulic engineering, and obtained 28 (including 1 US patent) invention patents (R1), 22 software copyrights (R1), and edited 3 academic monographs.
