BiographyCheng Jie, female, Ph. D, Master’s supervisor, the Director of the Non-English Major Graduate Division at the School of Foreign Languages. She has led more than 10 provincial and municipal research projects and published over 10 academic papers in journals such as Foreign Languages and Foreign Language Research. She has also served as the chief editor for multiple translated works, including The Interconnected Indian Ocean Island Nations Center, and has compiled more than 20 textbooks. Her research focuses on pragmatics, pragmatics and foreign language teaching, and pragmatic translation.
