She holds an MA in English Language and a PhD in Linguistics from Lancaster University, UK. She is currently an Associate Professor and Master’s Supervisor at the School of Foreign Languages, South China University of Technology. She has published more than 10 papers in SSCI and CSSCI-indexed journals such as Asia Critique, Foreign Language Teaching, and Foreign Language Research. She has also translated two books, edited two textbooks, and contributed to one textbook.In 2020, she served as the lead instructor for the Guangdong Province Curriculum Demonstration Course English Public Speaking and the Public Speaking MOOC on the Wisdom Tree platform. The course has been included in the micro-lecture libraries of Xinhua Ideological and Political Education and People.cn. She has presided over and completed three provincial-level Philosophy and Social Sciences Planning projects, four university-level research projects, and one international horizontal research project. As a core team member, she has participated in two National Social Science Fund projects, one project under the Ministry of Education, and one Major Project in Humanities and Social Sciences under the Ministry of Education.She has won the first prize in the South China University of Technology Young Faculty Teaching Competition and has led four teaching reform projects at the provincial/ministerial and university levels.
