AboutXili Wu is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Foreign Languages, South China University of Technology. Recognized as a National Curriculum Ideology and Politics Teaching Master, she also serves as a researcher at the Ministry of Education’s Center for Country and Region Studies, sits on the Expert Panel of the Guangzhou Municipal Foreign Affairs Office, and is a Council Member of the Guangdong Translation Association. Her research has been supported by over ten provincial- and ministerial-level grants, including projects from the National Social Science Fund, the General Office of the National Language Commission Research Planning Committee, and the Guangdong Philosophy and Social Sciences Planning Office. She has authored more than 20 peer-reviewed articles published in SSCI- and CSSCI-indexed journals and commentaries in People’s Daily and Guangming Daily. Dr. Wu has played a key role in developing four nationally and provincially recognized first-class undergraduate and postgraduate courses. She has also served as Chief Editor for ten nationally planned textbooks.
