BiographyZhang Linlin, a native of Handan, Hebei Province, is a Lecturer and Research Fellow at the Research Center for Indian Ocean Island Countries. She has been recognized as a Curriculum Ideology and Politics Teaching Expert by the Ministry of Education. Her primary teaching responsibilities include foundational public English courses such as Academic English and External Communication of Chinese Excellent Traditional Culture. She has contributed to the compilation of textbooks like Academic English Oral Tutorial and Cross-Cultural Business Communication Tutorial, and has translated and edited The Pearl of the Indian Ocean: A Guide to Business and Trade in Mauritius, while also conducting research on Mauritius, an Indian Ocean island nation. She previously worked for two years at the Confucius Institute of Lancaster University in the UK, dedicating herself to second language acquisition, English teaching research, as well as country and regional studies.
