Biography
Jianxin Zhou, Ph.D. is a professor of School of Foreign Languages, South China University of Technology, China. He is doctoral supervisor and postdoctoral co-supervisor. He once worked at Lancaster University, UK, as a professor and dean. He is a writer, translator and researcher whose reseach interests include Anglo-American literature, comparison and translation of English and Chinese poetry, tanslation studies, and pedagogy. Studying and translating Emily Dickinson's poetry is one of his enduring passions, and has produced fruitful research results in the past 30 years. He has published 4 volomes of Chinese poetry, 11 translated books, and more than 100 academic articles.
