BiographyMei Zhang received the Ph.D. degree in control theory and control engineering from South China University of Technology, Guanghzhou, China, in 2005. She has been as an Associate Professor since 2009 in the School of Automation Science and Engineering at the same university. From 2017 to 2018, as a visiting scholar, she studied and researched at the school of computing science at the Arizona State University. She current research interests include scheduling and optimization, intelligent algorithms and simulation, intelligent detection technology, path planning, automation system integration and optimization. The key technologies in these projects have been applied in practical systems with excellent results.
